So I just recently finished the 50 Shades Trilogy and I must say that it was a good read. I have to admit that I wasn’t interested at first during the initial hype from what I heard/read people say about it. However my cousin sent me a free copy of the three books so I decided to give it a try. From what I heard people were making it seem like this intense erotica book, but for me it was more than that. True there is sex all throughout the book, but most romance novels do. 50 Shades…is a love story with drama, suspense that depicts how unconditional love can heal deeply rooted psychological scars. More than a sex book….but I think the thing that got a lot of readers attention was the incorporation of sex toys in their intimacy. The author did a very good job of displaying how foreplay intensifies the lovemaking experience and orgasms. In my opinion foreplay is EVERYTHING..lol Our bodies respond to the sensations of touch, smell, taste and the things we hear and comprehend. Foreplay preps the body with anticipation of the “grand finale”. It’s amazing how a touch or kiss at the nape of the neck can send signals down below the waist. lol I read an article today that said that the sex toy industry experienced a boost from the 50 Shades books. While some of Mr. Grey’s fetishes were quite extreme I’m sure that many women were intrigued by the possibilities of pushing their pleasure capacity to greater heights through the use of “toys”.
I would love to see to see 50 Shades on the big screen as I think it will make for a good movie.

i started the book and for some reason was not able to connect, but i have not given up, i will finish it! after reading this, i’m a little bit hesitant because i’m not sure i can handle another level of pleasure, sometimes i feel like i can barely handle where i am now
